The amphitheater is an open-air site, located on the top of one of the rolling hills high above the shores of Lake Martin. The purpose of this facility is to promote and provide for artistic and cultural enjoyment in the lake community. This park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. Offering five baseball fields, three softball fields, an archery range, a gymnasium, a horse-riding arena, swimming pool, football/soccer stadium, and amphitheater. This park is the most recent recreation facility to be added in the Lake Martin area. The park features a white sandy swimming beach, two large pavilions, 13 picnic tables with grills, two fishing piers, restroom facilities, and an amphitheater. The park is centrally located on the eastern side of the lake, about six miles west of Dadeville on Young's Ferry Road. The park is open from early spring through early fall. more... map
