This museum of history and industry preserves an extraordinary collection of buildings, industrial structures, machinery, and iron art. Sloss is the only 20th century blast furnace in the country that is being preserved and interpreted as a museum. Sloss is also an unusual community gathering place and hosts a wide variety of education programs, concerts, festivals, and conferences.
