Animal Medical Center is a veterinary hospital and pet boarding facility located just minutes from the Gulf Coast's beautiful beaches. Dr. John Heilmeier and his veterinary staff are dedicated to providing special care for all of your pets' needs, in a family atmosphere.

Animal Medical Center is a full service veterinary practice, providing pet boarding for the Gulf Coast; offering in-house pet grooming and carrying all of the pet supplies that are so important to you and your pets.

Whatever care your animals need, we can have results in a minimal amount of time. For older animals we provide senior wellness testing, examining your pets for problems ranging from arthritis and dental disease to heart or liver disease. For younger animals we provide pediatric veterinary testing to ensure your loved ones will grow up to live long, healthy, happy lives. Before surgery, pre-surgical examinations can bring out any potential problems so your animal's care can be handled carefully and quickly. We also have veterinary surgical equipment to do permanent identification through micro chipping or tattooing.
