My fiancee` and I; both from the New Orleans area, visited Dauphin Island and Bellengrath Gardens recently. Leaving the Gardens we saw a sign saying Mary`s Place, 6 miles. So decided to try it out.
We have our favorite spot in the New Orleans area where we eat fried shrimp and considered it the best we have ever eaten, until we visited Mary`s Place.
This was the best shrimp we had ever tasted and the people were warm and friendly.
Not to mention the serving was abundant. Well more than the twenty shrimp the sign said.
A very, very satisfied couple here.
