In 1782, the first restaurant offering food selections from a menu and served at private tables was opened in Paris. It was called Le Grande Taverne des Londres (The Grand Taverne of London). The name of this restaurant, The Grand Taverne, was chosen to convey their intent to be first in food quality and service standards. The Grand Central Trading Company is proud to have the Grand Taverne as its food service provider. This completes their plan for a full-service destination resort for your enjoyment. Along with The Spa at Grand Central, they now offer a full range of goods and services for the most discriminating visitor. All food is created from scratch beginning with Chef Dave Gilderson's balcony herb garden. The bread is baked fresh daily. They also serve their own gourmet, specialized coffee.
