  WorldFest was established in the fall of 1995 to encourage friendship and reduce prejudice by coming together to learn about different cultures and ethnicities. One of the Commission’s goals through this annual event is to celebrate the global fabric of the City’s social diversity.   "The largest single event in the state of Arkansas," Riverfest is a celebration of the visual and performing arts that is held annually over Memorial Day weekend on the banks of the Arkansas River in Little Rock and North Little Rock. Patrons can enjoy live entertainment, fantastic food, a juried fine art event, instruction in various visual art mediums for ages 8 and older, the Market Row, Teen Extreme Area, KidZone, special events, and much more.
