Blanchard Springs Recreation Area features 21 picnic sites, crystal clear streams, a large flowing spring, caves, a small lake, scenic trails and picturesque bluffs. Visitors enjoy sightseeing, swimming, camping, and fishing. To get to Blanchard Springs Recreation Area, go seven miles north from Mountain View on Highway 9, then six miles west on Highway 14, then on Forest Service Road 1110 for three miles.
