Following the original, which opened in London in 1968, this restaurant brought its popularity to Beverly Hills in 1974 and it has been a local favorite ever since. Touted as upscale Chinese food as it should be, diners here often defer to their waiter for menu selections, while being entertained by a noodle maker. The sophisticated, contemporary, non-traditional interior features round, black and white kites.
