Humboldt Redwoods State Park is California's largest redwood state park with more than 52,000 acres of old growth coast redwoods. Visitors can enjoy more than 100 miles of hiking, horse, nature and bicycle trails, a visitor center with exhibits and a bookstore, picnic areas, the must-see Avenue of the Giants with Riverbend Cellars Winery, Eel River Brewing Company, and the Drive-Thru Tree, as well as fishing, canoeing and swimming in the Eel River. Three campgrounds offering 250 campsites have hot showers and fully accessible restrooms.
