Situated within Huntington Central Park, the Donald D. Shipley Nature Center is an 18-acre fenced natural area. The Center includes 4,000 feet of well-maintained trails, a natural freshwater wetland with mature willows and sycamores and a 1,500 square foot interpretive building with exhibits on local wildlife and ecology. The Shipley Nature Center is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
