The 354-acre Huntington Central Park is one of the largest city parks in Southern California. It offers picnic tables, restrooms, playgrounds, paved trails, barbeques, and over 100 types of birds. The park is also home to the Huntington Beach Central Library & Cultural Center, the Donald D. Shipley Nature Center, the Huntington Beach Playhouse, a sports complex, Adventure Playground, an equestrian center, the Huntington Beach Disc Golf Course, restaurants, and attractions.
