Located across the street from John A. Otis School, the Stein Family Farm was the home of Charles Stein (1861-1954), his wife Bertha Pallas Stein and their five children. Also known as the National City Living History Farm Preserve, the over two-acre Stein Family Farm is "the last cohesive remnant of an original farmstead" in National City. Open on Saturdays to the public to interpret life mainly during 1900-1920, it is comprised of the Stein's house, barn, buildings and the Stein Family Farm Museum.
