"One of the most famous and visited landmarks in southern California," Griffith Observatory is located on the southern slope of Mount Hollywood in Griffith Park. Griffith Observatory's grounds, exhibits, and telescopes are open to the public six days a week. Three shows are offered each day in the 300-seat Samuel Oschin Planetarium.
