Originally the city library, and given to the City of Modesto in 1912, this museum contains a complete dentist's office, a general store, and a recreated blacksmith shop, as well as other exhibits that include gold mining paraphernalia, original fire fighting equipment, and a collection of cattle brands from Stanislaus County.
