Originally called Castle's Red Barn, El Rancho Lodge was built by Don Castle, a former stage and movie character actor with MGM. Elizabeth Montgomery, Alan Ladd, Robert Altman, George Reeves, Buddy Hackett, John Cassavettes, Gina Rowland, Patricia Crowley, Sal Mineo, Barbara Hale, and Berry Gordy are just a few of the guests that the El Rancho Lodge has hosted. Pool side and garden rooms are available. A heated pool and large mosaic-tiled keyhole Jacuzzi spa pool are on the premises.
