Chef Akira was born in Japan and studied in France under well known Chef Joel Robuchon. He worked in Paris and went on to study the fine art of pastries at Ecole le Lenotre. The French restaurant he later opened in Japan is ranked as one of the top 50 French restaurants in the country.
