Once the site of a gold stamp mill during the Gold Rush, made of brick and placerite stone, this bed and breakfast is one of Placerville's oldest homes. Known as the Ollis-Plumado House, features of the home include original art and antiques from around the world, a fireplace in the parlor made of hand-picked stones, and a wraparound verandah encircling the main floor. Four elegant guest rooms, including two separate cottages, are available, all of which have private baths. A full gourmet breakfast and afternoon refreshments are included.
