The only "floating" National Park, this area is home to the world's largest collection of historic ships. Some of these National Landmark vessels include the 1886 square rigged ship Balclutha, the 1895 schooner C.A. Thayer, and the 1890 ferryboat Eureka; tours. Special events, and programs are held throughout the year, and some ships are also available for private rentals.
