The Whale & Ale is the only authentic British restaurant and pub in the South Bay area; entirely oak-paneled, it has a long oak bar, a balcony overlooking the piano lounge, a fireplace and a grand piano in the corner. It can be found in the fun area of San Pedro (the business/dining/art gallery district), and the menu includes dishes such as Beef Wellington in Périgourdine Sauce, Rosemary/Dijon baked rack of lamb, Petrale Sole, Scottish Salmon and tender Prime Rib of Beef.
