Opened in 1969, this museum is located in the Strathearn home built in circa 1892-3 and the 6.25 acre park encompasses a Chumash Indian Village. This is a very unique place and is one of the things that sets Simi Valley apart from most other communities. It is special because of the history, the many buildings and historical items found within the park, and the extraordinary Docents that bring the park to life.
