The San Luis Valley Museum is open Tuesday-Saturday year round and they are one of the largest high desert valleys in the world. They are surrounded by the peaks of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and the San Juan mountains. They feature a war veterans honor, a turn of the century post office, Hispanic heritage, cowboy exhibits, an old school room, arrowheads and more.
