The Pagosa Fiber Festival is an annual event which celebrates the "growing cottage industry involved in such fiber-related businesses as spinning, weaving, knitting, felting and designing patterns." It also strives to "preserve the rural lifestyle and landscape by providing the small livestock raisers a venue to promote their product." A Navajo rug auction, competitions, vendors, demonstrations, workshops, animals, and presentations will all be part of the Pagosa Fiber Festival.
