Located in Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas River, the Nature & Raptor Center of Pueblo features a blend of aquatic, riparian, transition and semi-arid grassland habitats that provide homes to many plants and animals. The raptor facility at the Nature and Raptor Center of Pueblo is a wildlife rehabilitation facility that specializes in birds of prey. More than 250 injured and orphaned birds of prey are admitted to the facility from throughout southeastern Colorado each year.
