Please don’t ever support Mount Shavano Ski and Snowboard Shop. The employees are rude; the service is less then desirable. I went in for a custom boot fitting, the employee measured my feet, had me stand on a board bend my knees and straighten them a few times. I wanted a surefoot bed in my boot so he fit me for the proper size, put the surefoot in my boot, unbuckled my boots had me put them on buckled them up. Ask me to bent my knees and straighten them a few more times, and that was it. I was charged for a custom boot fit. Instead of the employee telling me that the boot fit my foot just fine and I didn’t need any customization, he just charged me for buckling and unbuckling my boots. When I asked to have my boot heater put in the boots, I was not told that was an extra charge, he brought the boot beds to the back then informed me there was a problem with the adhesive and I would have to return about 3.5 hours later. When I went to check out found out that was an additional $20.00 charge. What a rip-off not only was I charged for a so called custom boot fitting but also the have the insertion of the boot heaters, that I had to make another trip to the shop to pick up. The women who checked my out was a rude as a person can be.
I asked everyone to please not support this business, there are other ski shops in the Salida area that are much more deserving of you business then this business is.
