The Stone Museum offers slide lectures, naturalist-led hikes, and special events. Natural history exhibits include mounted taxidermy specimens of many mammals and birds that are common in the forest and artifacts from Indian and colonial sites in the area. Trail maps are available. The museum is open every Sunday from Memorial Day until Columbus Day and on Saturdays through July and August.
