A saltbox built in 1740, once the town post office, a courthouse, underground railroad stop and a multiple family dwelling; the Woodward House is now a fine dining establishment that offers courses that are freshly prepared using only fine and local ingredients. Menu selections include duck confit ravioli, rabbit loin, pistachio crusted rack of Colorado lamb, scallop chowder, and pan seared pheasant breast. An extensive wine list with excellent vintages from California, France, Australia, Austria, Italy, and Spain is also available.
