Maintained by the Branford Historical Society, the restored property listed on the National Register of Historic Places features a unique corner cupboard and huge hall fireplace. Its furnishings include four-poster and rope beds, a bedspread made for her dowry, 17th century chests of Branford origin, a beehive bake oven, warming pans, foot stoves and china. One room of the Harrison House is a museum filled with Branford artifacts, memorabilia and archives. The Harrison House is open on Saturdays, 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. June to September or by appointment.
