The Italianate Villa-style Isham-Terry House is "a time capsule of genteel life in turn-of-the century Hartford." It contains ornate gas-light fixtures, stained-glass windows, rare books and paintings, Connecticut-made clocks, Hartford High School memorabilia, surgical instruments and medicines, and a rare collection of early Connecticut automobile memorabilia. The Isham-Terry House is open by appointment.
