This was the home of Connecticut's Revolutionary War Governor, the only Colonial Governor to support the war for independence; and the birthplace of John Trumbull, America's Patriot Artist. Owned and maintained by the Connecticut Daughters of the American Revolution, the period-furnished Governor Trumbull House Museum contains several Trumbull possessions and is open from mid-May to mid-October Wednesday through Sunday, 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
