With hand-carved paneling and corner fireplaces, Jonathan Trumbull Jr.'s home is the house where George Washington spent the night of March 4, 1781. Jonathan Trumbull Jr., son of Connecticut's Revolutionary War Governor, served as General George Washington's secretary during the American Revolution and was later governor of Connecticut from 1797-1809. This home is open from mid-May through Columbus Day on Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
