Originally constructed in Branford, Connecticut as the Jonathan Towner Half Way Tavern, a travelers stop half way between New York and Boston on the then Boston Post Road; High Meadow Bed & Breakfast can accommodate two parties in the upstairs’ front rooms. Breakfast is served in the dining room downstairs. Situated in an open field, next to woods and overlooking a pond, Brae Cottage included a large living room with cathedral ceiling, fireplace and queen-size Murphy bed, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bedroom with queen-size bed, bathroom with large whirlpool tub and shower, and a utility room with washer & dryer. Decorated with antique Thai paneling, the Thai Suite has a private entrance and a whirlpool tub.
