Dedicated to preserving the legacy of the most famous African American of the 19th century, this is the former residence of African American abolitionist Frederick Douglass where he lived from 1877 to 1895. Ranger led tours are available of the home which provides detailed information about the last 18 years of Mr. Douglass' life.
