You are invited to worship and celebrate life in this place of history. Constructed in 1698-1699, the church was originally established as a Swedish Lutheran Church. The church was then placed under the jurisdiction of the Protestant Episcopal Church in 1791 and stands today as the nation's oldest church building. The building stands just as it did when it was first built. It is still in regular use for worship
