This 4,200 square foot environmental center contains 197 acres of brackish water ponds, mangrove wetlands, slatterns, and uplands. Many varieties of waterfowl and fish can be seen regularly and the park offers numerous classes in horticulture, woodcarving, birding, and basketry. A variety of "Adventure Trips" are also scheduled throughout the year including kayaking to Useppa Island, Mound Key, or along the Peace River, as well as biking on Boca Grande.
