The boyhood home of George E. Merrick, founder and developer of the City of Coral Gables, this historic landmark house originally began as a frame house which was added onto in 1906. The house is beautifully restored to the 1920s period and is filled with the Merrick family's art, furniture, and personal treasures. map

A Venetian style lagoon carved out of coral rock, this historic landmark and swimming pool is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places and features caves, stone bridges, and waterfalls; the pool is filled with 820,000 gallons of spring fresh water.
