One of the most well-preserved 19th century forts in the country, this park provides a unique experience for visitors to learn about Florida's natural and historic resources and features 8,400 feet of shoreline along the sound. The park is bounded by 4,000 feet of Atlantic coast and an extensive estuarine marsh system. Camping and fishing are available and a gift shop is on site. Tours and special events are also available at the park.
