Lush tropical gardens surround the restored Baird Mansion, a romantic three-story French Second Empire-style inn known as the Magnolia Plantation Bed & Breakfast Inn and Cottages. The property features brick walking paths, Charleston-style courtyards, fountains, ponds, and waterfalls. Decorated in period furnishings, the inn offers five individually decorated guest rooms, all with gas fireplaces and private baths with claw foot tubs. Furnished private cottages are also available that are uniquely decorated and include fireplaces, Jacuzzi tubs, and fully equipped kitchens. A full breakfast served in the formal dining room, on one of the open porches, or in the garden gazebo is included.
