An island within an island, this traditional Caribbean compound features award-winning landscaping from Brazil, India, and Tahiti, as well as historically significant and meticulously renovated one and two bedroom "cigar makers" cottages. There are additional suites available located in two authentically reproduced Bahamian style houses which include vine covered porches, sundecks, and shaded balconies. Amenities on site include a large outdoor pool set in a lush tropical courtyard, a Jacuzzi, and a lotus pond complete with lily blooms and Japanese koi. A continental breakfast is served daily in the lobby.
