Originally serving as a training base for the Southeast Army Air Force Training Command, this general aviation airport features two 4,900 foot long by 100 foot wide intersecting runways, as well as a 20,000 square foot FBO building which includes a pilot lounge, a flight service station, a weather briefing area, and a pilot training classroom.
