Known internationally as the “Alligator Capital of the World,” the main attraction at this 110 acre amusement park and wildlife preserve is the alligators, in all their variety. A Gator Wrestling Show is housed in an 800 seat amphitheater where guests' seats surround a square sandbox stage and six to eight feet alligators, which live in a pool outlining the sandy arena, are pulled on stage by trainers. The park opened as a roadside attraction in 1949 and provides affordably priced family fun.
