The buildings that comprise The Veranda Bed & Breakfast were built in 1913 by Luther Black and used as a winter retreat from the Northeast for he and his wife. The buildings were originally renovated in the fall of 1993 and The Veranda Bed & Breakfast opened in the spring of 1994. The property consists of 5 buildings and has 11 rooms ranging in size from full studio to king suite.
