    Three miles west of Flagler Beach, this historic plantation's sugar mill, unique spring house, wells and the crumbling foundations of the plantation house and slave cabins are all that remain following the Second Seminole War. Today it stands as a monument to the rise and fall of the sugar plantations of East Florida.     A beautiful and serene 1,005 acre preserve that borders Haw Creek and features boardwalks winding through the swamp overlooking the creek, a picnic pavilion, and a launch for canoes, boats, and kayaks. Fishing in the dark creek waters is also available, as well as hiking, horseback riding, and primitive group camping.

    Situated at the confluence of Pellicer Creek, Moody Creek, and the Matanzas River, this beautiful 1,505 acre preserve features salt and freshwater marshes, hardwood hammocks, uplands pine forests, and oak scrub, as well as a circa 1887 restored lodge which is the oldest standing structure in Flagler County.
