"The oldest structure on the Treasure Coast," the circa 1876 House of Refuge Museum at Gilbert’s Bar is "the only remaining House of Refuge in the United States." Open seven days a week, the Museum offers tours that include the boathouse living quarters and a WWII lookout tower. The House of Refuge is also available for rent.
