This property was donated to Seminole County by Senator M.O. Overstreet and dedicated by President Calvin Coolidge in 1929. The park is home to "The Senator," a 3,500 year old, 138 foot bald cypress tree named after Overstreet, which is one of the oldest and largest trees in America.
