Located in Homosassa, about three miles west of Homosassa Springs, Yulee Sugar Mill Ruins Historic State Park features the remnants of a once-thriving 5,100-acre sugar plantation owned by David Levy Yulee. Visitors are able to see a 40-foot limestone masonry chimney, iron gears, a cane press, and several interpretive panels regarding sugar making.
