Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park

Natural Bridge Battlefield Historic State Park is "the site of the second largest Civil War battle in Florida and where the St. Marks River drops into a sinkhole and flows underground for one-quarter of a mile before reemerging." Each March, the public is invited to view reenactments, visit authentic Civil War campsites, talk with historians about conditions and events before and after the battle, and enjoy demonstrations of weapons and uniforms and a ceremony honoring the soldiers.
