The oldest surviving bank building in Florida, this bank, at various times, has housed a Freedman's Bank, a shoe factory, a bakery, a beauty shop, and a church. This historic bank now serves as an extension of the Florida A&M University Black Archives, Research Center, and Museum and contains artifacts and documents reflecting black history and culture.
