"Atlanta's home to dinosaurs," this museum was the first museum in the world to display the world's largest dinosaur, an Argentinosaurus. Visitors are able to view special exhibitions ranging from reptiles to Egyptian artifacts. This museum is also home of The St. Catherines Island Foundation and Edward John Noble Foundation Collection, which contains more than one million objects, spanning a period of over 4,000 years, which include aboriginal and European ceramics, glass trade beads, artifacts from the Mission Santa Catalina de Guale, and more. An IMAX Theatre is also on-site for visitors to enjoy.
