Housed in a distinguished building designed by renowned architect Michael Graves, this museum contains the largest collection of ancient art in the Southeast with objects from ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Near East, and the ancient Americas on display. The museum also displays collections of 19th and 20th century sub-Saharan African art, as well as European and American works on paper from the Renaissance to the present.
