Situated within four counties and consisting of 16 land units along a 48 mile stretch of the Chattahoochee River, this recreation area offers a wide range of recreational activities such as fishing, hiking, picnicking, and boating. The park also contains a wide variety of natural habitats and visitors can explore 19th century historic sites and Native American archeological sites.
